Complaints and appeals

As a requirement of the Standard 8 of The National Code 2007, the international students must have access to internal and external complaints and appeals mechanisms. External complaints mechanisms should be pursued when internal complaints mechanisms have been exhausted.

Students who are not satisfied with the University’s internal appeals processes that are defined in the Complaints Procedures, they can lodge an appeal with the West Australian Ombudsman who will consider appeals and complaints. The international students of Curtin University have access to their rights and obligations as international student and appeal lodgment process who can lodge Appeals according to University’s Complaint Resolution Process.
